- All classes (in-person and remote) are cancelled for Monday.
- All campus facilities, except for the Dining Hall in Mund, will be closed on Sunday and Monday.

Heating Information for Residential Areas
All campus buildings, including houses:
- Keep all windows and entrance doors closed.
- Do not keep entrance doors open longer than needed.
- Do not prop entrance doors open.
Please call Campus Safety (717-867-6111 or ext. 6111) immediately if one notices temperatures dropping within a house or building, or notice no water flow at faucets or toilets.
Buildings with heat pump HVAC systems will rely on electric heat back up integrated within the systems to provide heat during these extreme temperatures. As a result, one may notice a slight, different odor when the electric heat initially turns on. That odor is normal and should only last for a few minutes. Residence Halls with heat pumps are:
- Dellinger
- Funkhouser
- Hammond lounge and RA apartment
- Keister lounge and RA apartment
- Marquette
- Silver
- Vickroy
- The Yuhas apartment
For those who can adjust their thermostats, do not turn the thermostats up and down, set thermostats to a constant 70 degrees and forget it. Do not turn the thermostat back even if leaving for the weekend.
Resident Houses
- Keep bathroom doors open when not in use.
- Open cabinet doors at kitchen and bath sinks where sinks are on the outside wall.
PLEASE NOTE: maintenance staff will enter college residences and buildings to assess areas of concern and prevent pipes from freezing. Staff will inform residents of any actions taken.
*Please use extra caution while walking on campus. While staff work diligently to maintain campus accessibility, weather conditions may create hazardous areas. Please report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the Office of Campus Safety, ext. 6111 or 867-6111. They will also have a limited number of shovels available to borrow.
