The Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee’s (ESAC) Earth Day events are off to a strong start.
Abigail Harvey, executive director of the Lebanon Valley Conservancy and founder of Fount and Fill, led a discussion on Thursday, April 9, with students about how to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Harvey’s business, Fount and Fill, allows individuals to refill containers with sustainable soap and laundry detergent. Prior to the discussion, Harvey hosted a mini market in the Mund College Center where students could purchase the soap.
Harvey also offered tips for making small changes within one’s life to have a meaningful impact on the environment. Several other Earth Day events will be hosted by ESAC that will be shared in the weekly Updates at the Valley email. To take an active role in sustainability on campus, contact greenlvc@lvc.edu.
