The LVC Education department and the Student Pennsylvania State Education Association (SPSEA) will welcome elementary students to campus for Children’s Day on Friday, April 10.
Children’s Day is an annual event that welcomes 200 first and second grade students from the Annville-Cleona school district to LVC for a day of activities, crafts and fun led by current education students.
Junior early childhood education and special education double major and SPSEA President Olivia Raguseo hopes for the students to have an exciting, engaging and educational day.
“We put on about a dozen stations that range from read-alouds to high energy movement activities, and children rotate between the stations, kind of like a field day,” Raguseo said.
Featured stations include an ice cream cone relay course, candy bowl affirmations, cornhole, Candyland bingo and more.
Raguseo is excited for a fun day that will bring college students together in order to create lifelong memories for these kids!
