Men’s lacrosse picks up fourth win

Men’s lacrosse played Neumann University last Saturday, March 17, and won decisively by a score of 15-6.

This impressive, high-scoring outing from the Dutchmen was propelled by senior Jake Bollinger’s five goals and sophomore Hayden Carling’s three goals. Junior Trey Ralston and graduate student Alex Kiviniemi each added two goals as well.

The team started out hot, putting up four goals to Neumann’s one in the first quarter. The Dutchmen added another five goals in the second period, resulting in a score of 9-2 at halftime. The early deficit was too large for Neumann to overcome, which resulted in the 15-6 victory.

The win against Neumann took the Dutchmen to a .500 record, as they now sit at 4-4. This puts them at 2nd place in the MAC Freedom, sitting two games back from the Stevens Institute of Technology, who are 6-1.

The team plays another home game on Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m. Be sure to come out and support your Dutchmen as they look to collect their fifth win when they take on Saint Vincent College, who are currently 0-6.
