There is a record-breaking number of first-year students on campus this year.

Lebanon Valley College has accepted the largest first-year class in the school’s history with 480 new members of the class of 2027 and 49 transfer students. The admissions team at LVC has played a large part in growing the community of the college, and it is important to understand how.

“The college has gained more exposure due to our increased social media presence,” said Kelli Heffer, senior Valley Ambassador. “As such a small campus, it has been very important to get our name out there.”

The Valley Ambassadors are the welcome faces of LVC. They provide tours to prospective students, showcasing the campus while making strong impressions. They also have been increasing the number of events held to allow potential students to see the campus. This has been done through adding more events, while also diversifying the ones already offered.

“These events are critical to allowing potential students to come to campus, meet all of the Valley Ambassadors and some professors and overall get a complete understanding of what it is like to come to school at LVC,” said Heffer.

The admissions team plans on continuing to showcase the school and all that it has to offer to these students.
