Meredith Haas

Editor-in-chief

Hi! My name is Meredith, and I am a senior political science and English double major with a journalism and communications specialization. I have been writing for La Vie since my sophomore year, and I’m thrilled to be an editor-in-chief for my final year at LVC. I hope that the experience working with La Vie gives me will eventually translate into a career in political communications or public relations.

During my time at LVC, in addition to La Vie, I’ve been a member of LVC’s women’s tennis team and a representative on the Student-Athlete Advisor Committee (SAAC). I also serve as a writing mentor and tutor. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and dogs, baking and traveling to new places.

Annie Steinfelt

Editor-in-chief

Hey, I’m Annie! I’m a senior digital communications and English major, and I’ve been a part of La Vie since my sophomore year. I primarily do the layout for the newspaper and the OTGs, but I occasionally write as well. Being a part of La Vie has definitely boosted my confidence in my design, writing and communication skills, and it is one of my favorite classes/clubs to be a part of.
I am also the design editor for Green Blotter, the social media supervisor at Bishop Library and am on the promotions team for the Design, Media & Technology Department here at LVC. Outside of school, I like playing volleyball, listening to music, playing piano and drums and dabbling in real estate and architecture.

Paige Dalto

Associate Editor

Hey! My name is Paige, and I’m a senior double major in social justice and English. I’ve been writing for La Vie since the fall semester of my junior year, and I’m so excited to be an editor this year! Through my time here, I hope to build upon my skills as an editor and writer through a career in activism education and (potentially) journalism.

In addition to La Vie, I’m a member of LVC’s chapter of the International English Honors Society, Sigma Tau Delta, and have poetry published in Green Blotter. Outside of LVC, I love to read and write, especially outdoors, and spend time with my cats.

Joining La Vie was the best decision I’ve made at LVC. I’ve made great friends, developed my career skills and now work as a reporter for my hometown newspaper. I absolutely recommend this course to anyone with an interest in writing; you won’t regret it!

Julia Craig

Associate Editor

Hi! I’m Julia. I am a senior business major with a minor in marketing. I have been a writer for La Vie since the beginning of my junior year, and I am excited to take on this new role as an editor! I’ve always enjoyed writing in a journalistic style, as I also wrote for my high school newspaper for two years.

Outside of La Vie, I am also a member of the softball team and a peer tutor. Softball is the only sport I play competitively, but I love sports in general, and it is one of my favorite subjects to write about. I also love going to the beach, hanging out with my friends and hiking!

Hi! My name is Eliana, and I am a senior business administration major. I started writing for La Vie in the fall of my junior year. Joining La Vie was one of the best choices I made that I never thought I would pursue. I am very excited to take on my role as assistant editor and get more involved.
