The softball team will play in its annual charity game where the team raises money for a special cause on Monday, April 17.

This year, the team will be playing for the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project is an organization that aims to support veterans and active-duty service members. Transitioning back to civilian life can be challenging for returning service members, so funds raised will help these warriors with additional funding for obstacles they may face next.

The team will dedicate their game to this project in hopes to raise money in support of Wounded Warriors.

As the team takes on Scranton University, they will be accepting cash and check donations throughout the duration of their doubleheader matchup.

If you are not able to attend but would like to donate to this cause, donations will be accepted through Venmo to @smweaver34.

Be sure to make it to the games this Monday at 3 and 5 p.m. to support the team and a great cause. LVC softball thanks all donors for their support and contributions.
