The cross-country team will the Mid Atlantic Conference meet at Union Canal Park, their home course this weekend, starting Oct. 29. LVC has been waiting to host MACs, as their originally planned year was postponed due to COVID-19.

Earlier in the season, a meet was held at Union Canal to give competitors a taste of the course. In addition, a smaller meet, Last Chance Run Fast, was held Oct. 21 on the course for a last opportunity. LVC athletes competed for spots in the MAC meet and will run the top 12 runners.

Both the men’s and women’s teams expect to place top 5 in the conference. On the men’s side, Misericordia and Messiah are the teams to look out for. On the women’s side, Misericordia and Widener are strong competition, and the team will focus their efforts mainly on DeSales.
