Valley Fest is near!

The day of LVC’s annual Valley Fest is quickly approaching.

What is Valley Fest? Valley Fest is one of LVC’s longstanding traditions, a celebration meant to bring together the College and surrounding community in welcoming the spring season and appreciating the arts.

This year’s Valley Fest will be held all weekend long, with events beginning on Saturday, April 30, at 7 p.m. and continuing on Sunday, May 1, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Saturday’s events will consist of a concert held on the practice field. VALE Artist of the Year, Jake Nguyen, will perform to open the show. A performance by this year’s headliner, Royals, will follow for the rest of the evening with upbeat, crowd favorites ranging from 80’s music to some of today’s biggest pop hits.

The festival portion of Valley Fest will take place on Sunday, stationed on Sheridan Avenue. This event will feature games, inflatables, craft vendors, food trucks and many other activities open to both students and community members.

For more information on LVC’s Valley Fest, students should keep an eye out on social media, or head to the Valley Fest page on the LVC website at https://www.lvc.edu/life-at-lvc/student-activities/valleyfest/.
