An LVC student got to enjoy his summer in Hershey doing an internship for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts.
Jacob Mrose, a graduate student at LVC, worked at The Hotel Hershey this summer as a part of the company’s hospitality internship program.
“During my time with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, I was given the opportunity to have so many different experiences and put myself in brand new environments,” Mrose said, “Through the Hospitality Internship Program (HIP), I worked with the front of house operations, which was the overarching department of customer experience.”
Mrose was exposed to many opportunities that directly impacted what he may want to do for his future. As a business administration major, the insight was valuable.
“Due to the way the program was set up, I found it super beneficial to be trained and experience all aspects of the department, as it gave me real-time experience in whatever project, activity or work must’ve been done at that time,” Mrose said
With that, Mrose will be begin job hunting.
