New creative tools are now officially being offered for full-time LVC staff and students to allow for a new opportunity of learning and teaching.
The IT department is now offering Adobe Express and Adobe Acrobat Pro to full-time staff and students. These two apps are superior to many free options that have been offered previously.
“Adobe Express is a much superior product but still has an ease of use that many people are going to like,” Alisa Grove, assistant director of IT operations, said.
Adobe Express is a versatile cloud-based design platform that allows you to easily create videos, PDFs and many other forms of digital media. The program will help professors and students expand their creativity within their work and help make a more enjoyable experience at LVC.
With this new powerful tool at the hands of all staff and students, they are now able to make their creative dreams come to life.
“We are excited for students to have the opportunity to build resumes and build content without needing the background of difficult products like Photoshop or Creator,” Grove said.
This new platform creates an invasive learning experience on the app so that anyone looking into using it will not have trouble making a smooth transition.
“Any student can use this to make documents and projects,” Grove said. “They also offer the full suite of products to certain departments where more software is required for certain majors and certain classes.”
Staff and students of all majors are encouraged to take advantage of what this technology has to offer.
