LVC will host its annual Health Professions Career Fair on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center; it will feature more than 50 employers, which is the largest number in the fair’s history.
All health professions majors are encouraged to attend, but students from any major with an interest in the healthcare industry are welcome. For those unable to attend in person, the Breen Center for Career and Professional Development is offering to distribute résumés to employers following the event.
Pre-registration through Handshake is encouraged but not required. Students are advised to research organizations beforehand to make a strong impression. The Breen Center is offering résumé reviews to students before the career fair via appointment through Handshake.
According to feedback from past fairs, many students have successfully secured internships and job offers through this event, with some even receiving multiple offers on the spot.
With record participation and opportunities for students at all stages of their academic journey, this year’s Health Professions Career Fair is expected to be one of LVC’s most valuable networking events yet.
