Former Dutchmen football player Luca Cammorata has traded in his helmet for a camera,
capturing every highlight, emotion and moment from the sidelines for the LVC football
team.

Cammorata, who once suited up under the lights for the Dutchmen, now focuses his energy
on storytelling through film and photography. His transition from player to creator has
given him a unique perspective that connects deeply with both the athletes
and the fans.

“It was hard for me to handle the fact that I wasn’t going to be an athlete anymore because
it’s all I’ve ever known,” he said. “But once I had the idea of picking up the camera, it felt like it was
just meant to be. I am so grateful for the LVC football program, and I’m happy to continue
making an impression for the players and team off the field.”

His work behind the camera has quickly become a key part of the team’s culture,
showcasing the passion and hard work that happens both on and off the field. Whether it’s a
game-winning touchdown or a quiet moment during practice, Cammorata’s lens tells the
story of the Dutchmen with authenticity and heart.
