As stress levels climb in the post-spring break rush, one student organization is bringing escape rooms to campus to give students a break.
The event, formally known as Escape the Grind, is sponsored by the student programming board (SPB) and will include two different escape room experiences on Friday, March 14.
The first room will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Mund living room and can hold a group of four to six students. It is called “Billy Beckett’s Bookstore” and will be run on a first-come, first-served basis.
The second escape room is run as a competition wherein up to ten groups of six to eight students will compete to escape from a CSI-themed room first. This room is in the Mund underground and runs from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
If students wish to participate in the CSI-themed room, they should have one person from their group reserve their spot at this website. The sign-up can also be found in the event’s listing in Jen Evans’ Updates from the Valley email on Thursday, March 6.
Additionally, the first 150 students who arrive at the event can get a free Shamrock Shake.
