LVC’s chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) is seeking student performers for its second-annual “Unleash Your Inner Star” talent show.
NAfME provides professional development opportunities for aspiring music educators and its annual talent show is one of the club’s biggest fundraising events.
“Last year we had musicians, comedians and many more talents,” Anna Romano, NAfME treasurer, said. “We are looking for out of the ordinary acts that are fun and interesting!”
Auditions for this year’s show are due Friday, March 14, and can be submitted to this link.
NAfME is only accepting 10 acts this year, so those interested in performing should send in their auditions as soon as possible to secure their spot in the show.
Music faculty and students will judge each performance. The top three acts and the audience’s choice award winner will receive prizes.
The talent show will be held on Friday, March 28, at 7 p.m. in Lutz Recital Hall. Performers should also note that dress rehearsal will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 7 p.m. in Lutz Recital Hall.
