Men’s lacrosse defeats Neumann

LVC men’s lacrosse had a 15-6 win over Neumann University on Saturday, March 16, at Arnold Field.  

The team started the first half of the game strong with a 9-2 lead, with the first goal scored by Trey Ralston, a junior attacker.  

Neumann did not get any points on the board until the end of the first quarter, while LVC was leading by three points. 

LVC held a steady lead throughout the game and gained an even larger lead during the second quarter. That quarter would go on to end with a score of 9-2. 

Jake Bollinger, a senior team captain, scored five goals and Alex Kiviniemi, a graduate student team captain, scored six as the leading scorers of the game.  This win elevated the team to a 4-4 overall record.   

The Dutchmen play their next home game on Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m. versus Saint Vincent College.
