Taylor Swift fans can look forward to a showing of her film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” at the Allen Theatre.
Located at 36 East Main Street, the theatre will be hosting private screenings of the film for students at 10:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21.
Directed by Sam Wrench, the film sits at a runtime of approximately two hours and 45 minutes. It consists of footage from early August of Swift’s performance at the Eras Tour’s last U.S. show dates at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
By utilizing a variety of aerial and close-up shots, the film gives viewers a dynamic view that they couldn’t get in a concert, even with front row seats. It leaves intact the immense swell of energy that Swift inspires in her fans.
The Allen Theatre encourages moviegoers to express their true Swifty colors.
“Taylor Swift Eras attire and friendship bracelets are strongly encouraged! The Dance Floor is open!!” the theatre states on their website.
Students can sign up on Redbook to save their seat.
