Pennsylvania American Water alert expires

Pennsylvania America Water has ended its alert for the main tie-in on North College Avenue.

The alert started at an estimated 9 a.m. on their website as they worked to tie in one of the water lines on campus. This led certain water taps to produce little or discolored water. The maintenance took approximately seven hours.

As of 4 p.m., the water line has been fixed, and the alert has been updated on their website to an expired status. The only other alert present on campus is a main installation alert on East Maple Street, which began on June 19 and is said not to expire until the estimated date of Dec. 22.
