Each year, student-athletes come to campus ready to get back to work for the sport they love. With that, the athletic trainers (ATs) are also ready to see their athletes once again and hope for a safe and successful season.

The AT staff at LVC includes five talented individuals: Chuck Yasinski, Lisa Wawrzyniak, Carly Kleintop, Zach Kelly and Brittany Kelly.

The hard work that the AT staff puts into taking care of the athletes does not go unnoticed. For instance, two weeks ago, when the football team played Stevenson University, Yasinski and his graduate athletic training students worked tirelessly to maintain the health of the players given the surrounding environment.

“Their dedication and expertise not only ensured that our athletes could continue their training but also demonstrated a profound commitment to our program’s success and the welfare of our athletes. Their actions exemplify the high standards of professionalism and care we uphold within our athletic department,” J.R. Drake, head coach of the LVC football team, said.

The training staff wants nothing less than the best for the athletes at LVC. Their passion, dedication and care for those around them have created a welcoming atmosphere for everyone they meet.
