LVC will host two co-hosts of a popular podcast “Words & Numbers.” 

“Words & Numbers” is a podcast that focuses on the economic and political science side of current events. Anthony Davies and James R. Harrigan have both earned their Ph.D., and have been given the chance to write countless op-eds with some of the largest media outlets including, Los Angeles Times, US News, the Wall Street Journal and others. 

Davis and Harrigan are also authors of “Cooperation and Coercion,” which was published in 2020. Throughout the book, the authors share their ideas and wisdom on society and government functions. 

The podcast “Words & Numbers” releases episodes weekly where the two discuss issues that relate to economics, political science, current events, and policy. 

According to Apple Podcast, the show is ranked 4.8 out of 5 with over 310 written reviews. The podcast has grown tremendously and is about to hit the 300-episode mark. 

The two have been able to produce engaging content that viewers look forward to each and every Wednesday. 

Davis and Harrigan will lead a discussion on inflation on Tuesday, Oct. 25^,at 11 a.m. in Zimmerman Hall. All students who register and attend the event will be included in a raffle to win some LVC gear as well as a chance to win a signed copy of “Cooperation and Coercion.”
