Beginning Monday, March 21, LVC’s campus will become mask optional. This decision was made in consultation with LVC’s Penn State Health advisors and based on the low COVID-19 infection rates in Lebanon County.
Despite this change, students should continue to carry masks with them as professors can continue to require masking in classrooms, labs or other learning spaces.
While this decision may appear to be a nail in the COVID-19 coffin, it’s important to know that this policy is subject to change if infection rates rise or a new variant develops.
Whatever someone’s masking choice may be, let’s remember to stay respectful, stay smart and stay safe LVC.
