This year the Thanksgiving feast is back at LVC.

Every year, LVC has the tradition of having a Thanksgiving dinner for the students. This feast is a traditional, sit-down dining experience that is prepared by the dining hall staff, with all of the classic foods that are normally served at a Thanksgiving dinner.

“It is the best meal of the year, and it is fun to have the faculty and staff serve the meal,” Julia Gabriel, a senior psychology major, said. “My favorite dish is definitely the sweet potatoes.”

This dinner experience is different from going into the dining hall on a regular day. This event is a family-style meal and is served by the administrators and faculty.

Every year LVC’s Thanksgiving dinner is a huge success and a lot of fun for everyone involved.

“It is a tradition that the women’s lacrosse team all go and sit together, and every year we have a blast,” Gabriel said.

There will be two seating times for the dinner and there will be limited capacities. The tables at this event will be able to hold five students each.

The date for this dinner is set for November 18. If students are interested in the event this year, they must sign up on Redbook ahead of time.
