Many LVC clubs have had to halt their meetings due to the switch to online learning, but that has not stopped the yoga club.
Students may be wondering how to keep active in their homes during the pandemic and the yoga club offers an easy way to do that.
“The transition to online instruction didn’t change much for our club,” Bri Cicalese, a psychology and criminal justice major, said. “We used Zoom when we were still on campus so that students who opted to stay home for the semester, or those who did not feel comfortable coming in person, could still experience the yoga flow.”
Cicalese also said that taking breaks is essential. “Yoga is a way to stay active while being stuck at home. It’s a mix of flexibility and balance with an added bonus of toning one’s body.”
The yoga club meets every Thursday at 4 p.m. on Zoom. Students can also follow them on Instagram at lvc_yogaclub.
