When Parker Gallagher first toured LVC, he knew it was the place for him.

“They treated me like I was already a student, like I was a person rather than a number,” Gallagher, a junior digital communications major, said.

Gallagher said he never felt alone in a crowd due to the small, tight-knit campus community. He has been able to discover new passions since coming to LVC in 2018.

“I originally thought I would concentrate in videography, but after taking a design class I found out I had a knack for design,” Gallagher said.

Gallagher sees himself working in marketing or design as a social marketing manager or a marketing leader. He attributes the variety of possible careers available to him to the skills he’s learned at LVC.
