Student Government and the Student Programming Board (SPB) will come together to host the first-ever Virtual Dutchmen Dance-off Competition for students.
Students, along with their family and pets, are encouraged to post their best quarantine dance moves to the social media in a 20-40 second video and tag two more people to submit their own dancing video using the hashtags #DisDance and #VirtualDutchmenDanceOff.
Those who chose to showcase their moves will be entered into a drawing to win one of 30 $10 gift cards and also a chance to win a $25 gift card if they are selected as a winner for best choreography, most creative, most comical, best performance, mort heartwarming, best costumes or best overall.
Be sure to check out the SPB Twitter account, @spb_lvc, and competition hashtags to see your peers’ dancing skills.
Winners of the contest will be announced Friday, April 17, at 7 p.m. and will be featured on LVC’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
