Hard Rock Stadium in Miami was lively this past Sunday as the Kansas Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 54. The Chiefs were led by QB Patrick Mahomes and HB Damien Williams along with a strong outing by the defense in the big game.
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira also made an appearance, headlining the halftime show. The students of Lebanon Valley College made the correct prediction of the Chiefs winning the big game. 92% of students chose Kansas City as the victor on the La Vie Collegienne Twitter poll.
Super Bowl Sunday can be considered as an unofficial holiday for all Americans. Students around campus celebrated by watching the big game in their dorms, home or out to eat.
“I made some incredible nachos and enjoyed the game from the comforts of Stanson Hall” Collin Krakowski, a sophomore business major noted. “It was a good time as always.” Fans looking for more football can tune in to the XFL on weekends throughout the spring.
