From college to career

Transitioning from college to career can be a daunting task, but that journey can be made a little easier with help from Lebanon Valley College’s Center for Career Development.

LVC hosts “Pizza with Professionals” several times throughout the semester. The events present special guests who hold professional roles in their field of work.

“Students will have the opportunity to hear from accomplished individuals as they share their experiences from their time as undergraduates or first career role to their current professional roles in a variety of industries,” Brynn Mason, assistant director of Career Development, said.

The events take place in the Lebegern Learning Commons, located in the lower level of the Allan W. Mund College Center. It is open to all students no matter one’s class year and major.

“We hope that these sessions will help students gain in-depth knowledge about a specific organization or career path, increase their connections and professional networks and be inspired first hand from the experiences of others,” Mason said.

Students must register on Handshake before attending and will be provided with a free pizza lunch.
