Final spring tournament for the Jammin’ Jackalopes

LVC’s ultimate frisbee club, the Jammin’ Jackalopes, concluded its spring season in Shrewsberry this past weekend.

On Saturday, April 14, the Jammin’ Jackalopes traveled to Shrewsbury for an ultimate frisbee tournament hosted by York College. The teams at this tournament were Alumni of York College, Franklin & Marshall College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Pull It Club, Susquehanna University and York College.

The roster for the Jammin’ Jackalopes was comprised of 12 experienced players.

The Jammers went 2-2 in pool play with a 7-3 loss over Pull It, 7-2 win over Franklin & Marshall College, 7-3 loss over Susquehanna University and an 8-3 win over Mount St. Mary’s University. The team finished in fourth place after pool play and placed third overall in the tournament with a 11-4 win in the quarterfinals against Franklin & Marshall College and a 10-4 loss in the semi-finals against Susquehanna University.

This tournament marks the end of the competitive portion of the spring season for the Jammin’ Jackalopes. The Jammers plan to continue holding practices every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday until the end of the semester.
