The Breen Center for Career and Professional Development will host four Pizza with Professionals events this semester.
Pizza with Professionals (PWP) allows students to hear from experts of various job backgrounds on important career-related topics.
The following are this semester’s opportunities:
- On Thursday, Feb. 1, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Debbie Arendt of WellSpan Health will present on making a positive first impression in interviews.
- On Thursday, Feb. 22, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Jared Sekellick of the Pennsylvania National Guard will present on military careers and federal jobs.
- On Thursday, March 14, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Kristi Riley-Platt of Traditions Bank in York will present on financial literacy.
- On Thursday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Claire Messimer of Clair Global will present on personal branding and its significance in the professional world.
All PWP events will take place in the Mund College Center Underground. Students can register on Handshake.
Other Breen Center events this semester include the Pathways to Professions All Majors Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the Etiquette Dinner on Thursday, April 4 at 5:30 p.m.
