As LVC winter sports are underway, it is time to check in on the performance of these teams.
Men’s basketball is currently 0-7 overall for the season. The team is having a rough start to its season but are hoping to bounce back. The team’s next home game is Saturday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. against Neumann University at the Sorrentino Gymnasium.
Women’s basketball on the other hand is currently 3-3 overall for the season with wins against Penn State Hazleton, Saint Vincent College and Marywood University. The team’s next home game is on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 1 p.m. against Centenary University at the Sorrentino Gymnasium.
Men’s ice hockey is currently 3-8 overall for the season and 2-4 in the MAC Freedom conference with wins against SUNY Morrisville, Nazareth University and Arcadia University. The squad plays against Chatham University at home at the Hershey Park Arena on Friday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m.
Women’s ice hockey is currently 3-7 overall for the season and 2-6 in the MAC Freedom conference with wins against Albertus Magnus College, Stevenson University and King’s College. The team’s next home game is Saturday, Jan. 13, at 4 p.m. at the Hershey Park Arena.
Men’s swimming is currently 1-0 overall for the season with a win over Lycoming College. The team’s next home meet is Friday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. at the Arnold Sports Center against Elizabethtown College.
Women’s swimming is currently 0-3 overall for the season. The team’s next home meet at the Arnold Sports Center is Friday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. against Elizabethtown College.
Both the men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams have not competed in any invitationals yet but are set to partake in the Diplomat Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall College on Friday, Dec. 8, at a time to be determined. The Dutchmen Invitational will be held at the Arnold Sports Center on Friday, Jan. 12, at a time to be determined.
