Men’s and women’s ice hockey brought home wins on Friday and Saturday as they wrap up their seasons.
The women’s team had its senior day Friday night against Wilkes University. This game marked their fifth consecutive win at home this season.
Starting off strong, the Dutchmen earned two points in the first period and a point in each of the following periods. The final score ended 4-1. This makes for the team’s second win against Wilkes in a row on senior day.
The women’s team will advance into playoffs; their next game is away on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m. against Utica University.
The men’s team celebrated its senior night win on Saturday against Alvernia University. This was a big win for the Dutchmen.
The team played hard the whole game, scoring the first point of the game; they did not fall behind at any point. Brad Viola scored the game winning point for the Dutchmen in the final minute of the game. This game marks the end of the season for the men’s team.
