The men’s and women’s tennis teams served the veterans of our community this past weekend.
The tennis team went to Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery to take down over 70 flags and poles. They did this after the Indiantown Gap Veterans Day Program was held the weekend before.
“It was really nice being able to serve for our lost veterans, and remembering that there are bigger things,” Eliana Shenk, a first-year player, said.
LVC also remembered our veterans by placing flags all along the academic quad, in remembrance of all who have served in the U.S. military.
