GenHERation Trailblazer Series featuring Sapnah Shah

Gabbie Witter ’20, staff writer

GenHERation Trailblazer series, hosted by the Breen Center, will be inviting Sapna Shah to share her story of success as an Angel Investor on Dec. 2.

Shah is an angel investor, retail expert and three-time entrepreneur. She makes preseed investments in startups in B2B retail tech/fashion tech, marketplaces, DTC ecommerce and consumer brand sectors, focusing particularly on startups that have female and/or underrepresented founders.

The GenHERation Trailblazer series provides participants with a way to learn from accomplished experts. The series was created to join these experts with students to share their knowledge on developing new skills and preparing for future career opportunities.

GenHERation was founded by Katlyn Grasso when she was an undergrad at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Grasso wanted to create a network where young women and companies could connect and close the gender leadership gap.

Since 2014, GenHERation has empowered more than 300,000 young women and hosted 500 events across North America.
Students interested in following the GenHERation Trailblazer Series and learning more about Shah and her work can register for the Dec. 2 event on Redbook.
