Every year LVC has a number of special events that help to get both students and community members in the holiday spirit.
Jingle Jamboree took place on Friday, Nov. 30, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center. The event takes place every year which serves as a celebration for the end of the semester.
There were a variety of activities and stations students participated in. This year, the events included the following: carriage rides, pictures with Santa, indoor ice skating, cookie decorating, Christmas trivia, complimentary funnel cake and french fries, hot chocolate, soft pretzels and more. Free winter hats were given out to the first 300 students who attended the event.
“I really enjoyed the event.” said Jenna Lysakowski, a sophomore physical therapy major, said. “Last year, I went and this year did not disappoint.”
