LVC is a renowned school for its opportunities for personal and professional growth, and it shows in seniors’ upcoming plans.
Jenna Miner, a senior business administration major, is an example, having described her experiences at LVC in regards to personal and professional growth as “an incredible journey”.
“I’ve been able to further develop teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills,” Miner said. “After graduation, I’m excited to begin working full-time, gaining hands-on experience that will further prepare me for the future.”
Although Miner is determined to gain more experience, she has acquired a solid amount of background in the business field. Over the course of her college career, she has had internships in the Frederick County public school system, and in the Plamondon Companies, a hospitality-focused company based in Frederick, Maryland.
“My internships allowed me to grow my professional network, apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, and gain a deeper understanding of both the workforce and life beyond college,” she said.
While Miner has fully intended to kickstart a business-related career, she does not intend for 2025 to be her last official year in school. After gaining more experience, she wishes to attend another university to acquire a Master’s in Business Administration.
