LVC Day of Giving

Lebanon Valley College will have its 13th annual Day of Giving on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraiser where family, friends and alumni can donate money to different departments at LVC in an effort to raise money. Donors have the choice to either donate once or match a donation as it comes in for the organization.

LVC’s athletic department relies on this day to provide experiences and resources for athletes. One of the teams that are participating is women’s lacrosse.

Lebanon Valley’s women’s lacrosse team has set a goal for this year: 75 donors and to raise $5,000. This day is important to their program. These donations will go to several different aspects of the team, which will increase the student-athlete experience during their time at LVC.

“This is a huge fundraiser for us because it really shows the support that our team has and allows us to have new opportunities for new equipment such as a rebounder that will help us grow as a team,” Elizabeth Morgan, junior attacker of the women’s lacrosse team, said.

The Day of Giving is more than just a fundraising event. It allows Lebanon Valley to celebrate and commemorate the inspiring stories that have resonated in the community’s hearts over the years.

There are many ways to help on LVC’s Day of Giving. No matter the size, any donation will immediately impact LVC students. Use #LVCTimeIsNow to spread the word to encourage friends and family to join the cause.

Donations can be made through the LVC website and are available until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31.
