LVC has compiled a multitude of on-campus traditions over the years.

Many students have expressed their favoritism for LVC’s annual Christmas at the Valley concert.

This year, the multi-faceted concert will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3 in Miller Chapel. The theme for this semester’s show is “Let Me Listen,” which aims to highlight the importance of listening to one another and learning from others’ experiences.

The performance will feature the LVC Choirs as well as the music department. Attendees will be able to listen to poetry, literary and scriptural readings in addition to the night of music.

Preludes for the performance will begin at 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 2 and at 3:20 p.m. on Dec. 3.

The concerts are free and open to the public, but donations to the Dutchmen Pantry, which provides food items to current LVC students, are encouraged. Cash donations or non-perishable food items will be accepted in the Chapel Lobby. The Dutchmen Pantry is looking to replenish the collections of non-perishable meals, single-serve tuna pouches, mac-n-cheese and cereals, cracker packets, granola bars and Pop-Tarts.

For those unable to attend Christmas at the Valley in person, a livestream of the concert will be available on the LVC music department YouTube channel.
