In game three, the Dutchmen locked up the series sweep with strong offensive and defensive performances. Kyle McKracken and Blair Shaffer combined to pitch seven innings while allowing four runs. Senior pitcher Michael Williams returned to the mound after battling back from injury by working a clean frame in the eighth inning. The infield also played a crucial role by turning numerous double plays. Offensively, Nico Santoro and Jace Fetterman both tallied three hits on the day with Santoro driving in three runs. LVC would win game three by a score of 12 to 5 and secure the series sweep.
