The applications to become a first-year mentor at LVC are now live for any rising sophomore, junior or senior.

First-year mentors play an important role on campus during orientation to help welcome the incoming class and help spread the mission of LVC. In addition to helping during orientation, first-year mentors receive a stipend, an early move-in date and a time to develop leadership skills.

Info sessions will begin soon for those interested. The first session will be held in Clyde A. Lynch ’18 Memorial Hall 186, on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. The second session will be held in the underground of Mund on Monday, Feb. 19, at 4 p.m. These sessions will provide students looking to be mentors with the correct information and the opportunity for questions.

Contact Abby Anderson at aanderson@lvc.edu with any additional questions or concerns regarding becoming a first-year mentor.
