LVC softball made some noise in Florida during Spring Break.
The Dutchmen were in Orlando for the first ten games of the season. The team finished 8-2 while playing against some of the best teams in the country. The most notable win was the team’s very last game of the week, where it defeated 20th-ranked Babson University in an exciting 7th-inning comeback.
LVC softball players and coaches also earned accolades throughout the week.
Junior pitcher, Erin Sinatra, earned MACC Pitcher of the Week, as she threw her first no-hitter of the season.
Head Coach, Scot Adams, also hit a coaching milestone in Florida. He reached his 100th career win as head coach of the Dutchmen softball team.
The team will look to continue this hot start as the season progresses. Catch the home opener on Saturday, March 25 at 1 and 3 p.m. against Alvernia University.
