This year’s Fall Fest was a major success!
LVC’s annual Fall Fest drew hundreds of students to the social quad to celebrate the start of fall. The fest had its signature pumpkin painting and warm apple cider, but it also included some new activities; this year, LVC offered brisket sandwiches, cupcake decorating and flower bouquet making.
“Fall Fest was a great opportunity for students to come together and celebrate the start of fall,” Julie Hulbert, third-year speech-language pathology major, said.
The hard work of the LVC Student Programming Board (SPB) and campus clubs made this event possible; LVC Photography Club hosted a photo booth, SPB offered make your own dirt cup dessert, and so much more. Attending students could even participate in axe throwing.
“It was a great way to expose both the clubs available on campus and ways you can connect with the community,” Alison August, third-year speech-language pathology major, said.
This year’s Fall Fest was a hit and offered a large variety of ways students could get involved. From its crafts to its delicious food and lively music, Fall Fest is a staple of the LVC fall semester.
