As part of the English Department’s Writing: A Life series, poet S. Brook Corfman will be visiting campus.
Corfman will be reading from their latest poetry collection, “My Daily Actions, or The Meteorites.” The collection deals with issues of gender identity and expression in contemporary America.
“It’s such a smart collection that is also emotionally resonant,” Dr. Holly Wendt, associate professor of English and director of creative writing, said. “It demonstrates that it is possible for poetry to be accessible and intense at the same time.”
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in the Bishop Library Atrium and via Zoom. Registration for the Zoom link and additional information is available on the Writing: A Life website.
