Theater has moved to Zoom amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wig and Buckle, LVC’s resident theater company, has had to make new arrangements for this semester.
“So far our plan is to do online plays via Zoom,” Rachel Warthen, senior biology major and Wig and Buckle president, said. “Dr. Pry has a few shows for us to look over and pick and we’ll announce them as soon as we can.”
Warthen also said they are constantly brainstorming for other ideas.
“Any idea is a good idea the way I see it as long as we’re keeping the joys of theater alive on campus,” she said.
Wig and Buckle meetings are also held online using Warthen’s personal Zoom room. Meetings are held on Fridays at 4 p.m. Those who can’t make it can watch recordings posted on Wig and Buckle’s Canvas page.
Anyone interested is welcome to join, and can email Warthen for more information.
“I hope we can see more new faces in the new future,” she said.
