During spring break, the  Lebanon Valley College Women’s Lacrosse team will travel out of state to face off against Connecticut College.

On March 5, the team will leave for Connecticut and will return March 7.  The trip will not only provide an opportunity for the team to bond but also gives the Dutchmen a chance for them to face a skilled opponent.

“Connecticut College is in a competitive conference so it should be an aggressive game,” Emma Jones, a senior captain, said.

Connecticut College is a part of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) which is comprised of 11 schools along the East Coast. NESCAC is a division III conference known for its stiff competition. However, the Dutchmen team remains unphased.

“I think we are most excited to get out there and get more experience playing out of conference teams,” Kirsten Bannan, a senior captain, said. “Traveling with your college team is always a cool experience and there are a lot of memories that come along with it.”

In the past 4 years, the team has traveled to Virginia Beach, VA and Raleigh, NC for games.
