Dr. Berger-Knorr Publishes with Students

Dr. Ann Berger-Knorr, associate professor of education, published “Keystone to Reading Book Awards Meet STEM,” at the Pennsylvania Read: Journal of the Keystone State Literary Association with Hannah Booth ’20, Sierra Painter ’20, Samantha Ritchie ’20, and Lauren Sigmon ’20.

Gov. Wolf Appoints Dr. Blouch to State Science Committee

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf appointed Dr. Kathleen Blouch, director of the Master of Science in STEM Education Program, to a committee to update the Pennsylvania Academic Science and Technology, Environment, and Ecology Standards. Blouch joins the committee of education professionals selected to serve as content experts to draft the new standards.

Dr. Kathy Blouch, director of the master of science in STEM education programs, and Andrea Walker, adjunct instructor in science education, presented and exhibited at the ITEEA International Technology Educators Association Conference in Baltimore, Md., with an undergraduate and program graduate. Also, Blouch led “LVC’s Integrated STEM Program: Engaging Students, Empowering Teachers, Growing Leaders, and Enhancing the Community,” with Tyler Frantz ’08, M’20, and Robyn Weiland ’20.
