Dr. Benesch Presents for Popper Conference in India

Dr. Philip Benesch, chair of social sciences; associate professor of political science; and director of pre-law and external scholarships and fellowships, was a featured Zoom speaker for a July 28 event to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Popper’s birth. Dr. Benesch’s presentation, Karl Popper and the Reconstruction of Progressive Politics, begins about the 11-minute mark of the video.   

Dr. Alladin Guests on Belize Morning Show

Dr. Terrence Alladin, associate professor of criminal justice, discussed his research regarding reducing recidivism and prison reform on Belize’s WUB Morning Vibes show, which is part of the Krem Television Program Network. Dr. Alladin’s appearance begins at the 1:50 mark here. Belize’s Commissioner of Police was among some of the prestigious guests.  

Dr. Alladin Featured Speaker at Belize Institute of Management

Dr. Terrence Alladin, associate professor of criminal justice, was the featured expert at a recent event hosted by Galen University in San Ignacio, Belize. Dr. Alladin spoke about “Prison Reform: Reducing Recidivism through Peace Making Theory” at the session, which was co-hosted by Belize’s Ministry of Home Affairs and the Kolbe Foundation. 

Dr. Josephson Confirmed as FreedomFest Speaker

Dr. Kimberlee Josephson, professor of business administration, will be a speaker during this summer’s FreedomFest in Las Vegas, Nev. Dr. Josephson will be among a group of distinguished speakers that include 2020 Presidential candidate Andrew Yang, business leader Steve Forbes, and faculty and experts from across the globe.
