Men’s Ice Hockey Victory Highlighted on NY TV; Acker and Perhac Win MAC Awards

Travis Acker ’19, psychology, had a pair of goals and Tyler Perhac ’20, English, made 33 saves in the Dutchmen men’s ice hockey’s 5–2 victory over Elmira College in New York. These efforts, combined with their play in the week’s other contest against Bryn Athyn College, led to Acker and Perhac being named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively. The victory improved the Dutchmen’s UCHC record to 3–1–1 and was featured on WETM TV in New York.

Men’s Ice Hockey Team Recognized by CBS 21 for Service

Members of the College’s men’s ice hockey team volunteered to help Annville Police patrol the town’s streets on trick-or-treat night this year. The local CBS affiliate acknowledged this service and the guidance of Don Parsons, head coach.
