Dr. Chris Dolan, chair of history, politics, and global studies, wrote an op-ed, The Las Vegas killer’s motives shouldn’t matter—stopping the next mass shooting does, that was published on PennLive Oct. 12. In the piece, Dr. Dolan wrote about why investigators are still searching for a motive behind the shooter and the need for additional controls to prevent more mass killings.
