Dr. Robbins Co-Edits International Journal Issue

Dr. Jeff Robbins, professor of religion, co-edited a special issue of the Journal for Continental Philosophy of Religion with Dr. Jason Alvis of the University of Vienna in Austria. Alvis and Robbins also co-authored an editorial introduction for the issue.

Dr. Robbins Featured in Westar Institute Video

Dr. Jeff Robbins—professor of religion, director of American studies, and director of the undergraduate research symposium—is featured in the most recent promotional video for the Westar Institute.

 

Dr. Robbins serves on the board of directors for Westar, which is dedicated to fostering and communicating the results of cutting-edge scholarship on the history and evolution of the Christian tradition, thereby raising the level of public discourse about questions that matter in society and culture. He also chairs Westar’s academic seminar on “God and the Human Future.”

Professor Robbins Quoted in Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Dr. Jeff Robbins, professor of religion and faculty mentor for the Allwein Scholars Program, was interviewed regarding the opening of Washington, D.C.’s newest museum, the Museum of the Bible. Dr. Robbins expressed concerns, including that “They seem to be excluding a great deal of diversity that makes early history much more interesting than the mythologized version of history.”
