Brossman ’08 and Hollinger Inducted into Central Chapter PA Sports Hall of Fame

Adam Brossman ’08, arguably the greatest wide receiver to ever suit up for LVC football, and Stacey Hollinger, LVC’s associate director of athletics and senior women’s administrator, will be inducted into the Central Chapter PA Sports Hall of Fame on Nov. 11. Brossman holds several season receiving records and three career records: receiving yards, receptions, and receiving touchdowns. Hollinger, now an administrator, is the all-time winningest coach in LVC softball history with 428 wins and four MAC Commonwealth Championships. She was also an assistant coach for LVC field hockey, helping lead the squad to a pair of NCAA Final Four appearances.

Lindsey Yeiser Hibshman ’01 Inducted into MAC Hall of Fame

Lindsey Yeiser Hibshman ’01, elementary education, one of the greatest defenders in the history of LVC field hockey, was inducted into the Middle Atlantic Conference Hall of Fame. She was a three-time All-American and in 1999 was named MAC MVP.

 

Bobbie Macaw Atkinson ’67 Inducted into Springfield Athletic Hall of Fame

A star basketball and field hockey player while at LVC, Bobbie Macaw Atkinson ’67 was recently inducted into Springfield High School’s Athletics Hall of Fame. She was inducted with three other athletes during her high school alma mater’s homecoming football game. For Springfield, Macaw Atkinson helped lead the 1962 field hockey team to an undefeated season and was named outstanding player later that year for the school’s basketball team.
